As a commercial interior designer I can do a lot more than help you select finishes for your space! As a registered interior designer with the State of Florida, I can completely design your interior and provide permit drawings. That includes: • Locating new interior walls • Designing the ceiling and lighting plan • Placing switches and other controls • Locating and designing custom cabinetry and counters • Drawing a furniture plan for purchasing I cannot make changes to any load-bearing or exterior walls. If that is part of our design, I will recommend we bring an architect or structural engineer on the team to manage those items.

Design services can run between 10% - 15% of total construction cost. Projects may have a retainer, and are typically billed in parts at the end of each design phase and at the end of construction. Sometimes this price is determined based on square footage, or on how complex your project is. An office space will be less complex than an Outpatient building for example.

Yes, there will be a contract we both sign. We will start by reviewing my proposal to you step by step. Once we agree upon the scope of work, I will create a contract that reflects our agreed to terms, we will review again, and we will get started!
